Q: WHAT IS YOUR PRICING?

Each job request will be quoted individually. The reason being that I mostly work with businesses, big and small, to help grow their reach through photography. Each person and each shoot is different. Each shoot is aimed for accomplishing different goals, each shoot requires a certain amount of attention, whether it be styling, aesthetic consulting, props, etc. I tailor each shoot to suit your very specific needs. I don’t simply just show up, shoot, and leave. I work with you to build your vision. Being a stylist as well, that cost is often bundled into the price, but it will depend on how much or how little styling and creative direction you require for your shoot.

My prices also depend on your use. Photography that is for personal use differentiates from photography that is being used for marketing, commercial use, or monetary gain. Brand photography that is being used for monetary gain will also contain the copyright to those images, which incurs a greater cost.

Regardless of how much, or little creative direction you need for your shoot, and what the content’s end use is, my prices include high resolution images, my professional editing services, and digital files from our shoot. Feel free to contact me here to inquire.

Q: DO YOU EDIT ALL OF YOUR PHOTOGRAPHS?

Yes! Each image that you will receive will be hand-edited by myself. Rest assured that my attention to detail and fine-tuning of each photograph will be something that I extend to you as my client. Going one step further, I will edit the photos based on your brand aesthetic. Does your brand have a warmer, or cooler feel? Airy, or moody? I take everything into consideration when editing so that the photos bring out the best of your brand.

Q: DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEO SERVICES?

I do. I work with a skilled videographer that can assist. Additional rates apply, please inquire here.

Q: HOW LONG BEFORE I GET MY PHOTOS?

All edited, digital copies will be delivered 4 weeks from the shoot. Please inquire about printing lead times and rates.

Q: HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I RECEIVE?

The number of photos you receive will be decided upon prior to shooting. You will pay for a set number of photos, (mini shoots start at 5-8 photos, full length shoots will start at 20-30 images). Additional digital copies can be purchased à la carte for $25 an image.

Q: DO WE GET TO KEEP THE NEGATIVES?

I provide my clients with an edited, high resolution digital file. When the files are released to you, I’d be happy to assist you getting your images printed by suggesting a few places for you to do so. Printing is a service that I do not provide at this time.

Q: DO WE RECEIVE THE RAW, UNEDITED FILES?

The raw, unedited files are not available for review or for purchase.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE?

A 50%, non refundable deposit is required at booking to hold the date, and and the other 50% will be collected at the time of delivering the images to you. All payments must be submitted prior to the release of the photos.

Q: DO YOU OFFER A CONTRACT?

Yes, a signed contract is required prior to the deposit being made, and before any work can begin.

Q: HOW LONG DOES THE DESIGN PROCESS TAKE?

Depending on the services required, a project could take between 2-4 weeks. If you have any questions about a specific time frame, feel free to ask!

Q: WHAT TYPES OF FILES WILL YOU PROVIDE?

You will receive your files in jpg and png format.

Q: DO YOU OFFER PRINTING SERVICES?

I do not offer printing services at this time, however the files I provide you will be print-ready, and I will be happy to assist you choosing a printer based on your individual needs and budget.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR PRICING?

I require a $200, non refundable retainer to hold your spot. The remainder of the balance will be collected at the time of delivering the work to you, and all payments must be submitted prior to the release of the work.

Q: WHO MAKES YOUR ITEMS?

I hand make everything you see online, or at my shows, in my Philadelphia apartment, or Titusville wood shop.  My father, Burroughs, and I work side-by-side on all of the handmade wooden items.  I do a lot of the heavy lifting, cutting, sanding, and design as he supervises and tweaks along the way.

Q: HOW DO YOU SOURCE YOUR MATERIALS?

I make a very conscious effort to source local, ethical materials, made in the USA.  My goal is to minimize Haus of Hiraeth’s eco-foot print as much as possible.  The beeswax from my candles is from a local Pennsylvania bee keeper.  The wool I use in my blankets is from a farm in North Carolina.  The wood I use for my planters and other smalls is from my own back yard.  

Q: DO YOU CREATE CUSTOM PIECES?

Yes, I am open to discussing custom work.  Rates apply.  Please contact me at hello@hausofhiraeth.com with a brief description of what your vision is and any inspirational photos, if possible!  A non refundable 50% deposit is required prior to production.  All custom orders are subject to a 3-4 week lead time.

Q: HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?

Shipping is an $10 flat rate fee for USPS ground for small packages and $30 for ground shipping large packages (cutting boards, large blankets, large scale wall hangings, etc).  If you require expedited shipping, please let me know ASAP by contacting me at hello@hausofhiraeth.com .

Q: WHERE DO YOU SHIP?

Haus of Hiraeth ships from Philadelphia, and ships inside United States only, but if you’re an international customer, please contact me at hello@hausofhiraeth.com  for rates and lead times.

Q: WHEN WILL MY ORDER SHIP?

All in stock items will ship within 3-4 business days from when the order was placed.  Custom orders, or orders containing items which are made to order will be about a 3-4 week lead time.  Please note before purchasing whether or not the item(s) in your shopping cart have a lead time.

Q: WHICH ITEMS ARE ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN?

Physical items are eligible for return or exchange.  All antiques are final sale. Templates, presets, downloadable content, and custom orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. 

Q: HOW DO I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY ITEM?

While I hope that you love your piece from Haus of Hiraeth, I am happy to discuss any returns or exchanges pertaining to the products listed above in the previous question.  All returns or exchange requests must be submitted within 48 hours of receiving your merchandise.  Please contact me at hello@hausofhiraeth.com  for any returns or exchanges.  Custom orders, antiques, and digital downloads are not eligible for returns or exchanges.

Q: WHAT IS THE CHARGE FOR RETURN SHIPPING?

Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and using the carrier of your choice.  

Q: I RECEIVED THE WRONG ITEM, OR MY ITEM IS DAMAGED, HELP!

I want to make it right.  Please contact me within 48 hours of receiving your shipment so that we may resolve this as soon as possible.

Q: I BOUGHT A TEMPLATE OR PRESET AND I DON’T HAVE THE RIGHT APP, HELP!

I highly encourage you to read the product descriptions very carefully before purchasing any downloadable content to make sure that you have the necessary software to work with it.    These apps and software include Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom, Illustrator.  If you purchase something without having the correct software to use it, I unfortunately cannot be held liable and/or offer a refund.

Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

No cancellations can be made to orders.  You must be confident of your purchase at the time you place your order.  You can submit a return request for your item within 48 hours of receiving it.

Q: HOW DO YOU EDIT YOUR PHOTOS?

I edit all of my photos in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop.  I use presets for some of my photos, and hand edit others, depending on the lighting and composition of the photo.  If you’d like to try out my presets for free, click here!  I also have preset collections for sale here.
